Some hot summer weather has finally arrived - we certainly waited long enough for summer! We hope you are enjoying your favorite summer activities.

RDH Temps has some hot news this summer - Job Alerts! You may now choose additional ways to be

notified about temporary and permanent jobs. In conjunction with phone calls, we can now offer you the option to receive text and/or email notifications. Many of our jobs are also listed on RDH Temps website. Feedback thus far has been overwhelmingly positive - in other words most people have responded with such comments as "Wow" and "That's awesome".

Our 'Get to Know...' feature continues this month featuring Maureen. When we have finished updating you on our current staff we need to add a new feature.

One idea is to feature a temp who has received much positive feedback during a previous month. We welcome your ideas - tell us what you would like to see!

It's never too early to mark your calendar with this year's Walk for Mom date - Sunday, October 4th. We are already beginning to plan for what we hope will be our biggest and most successful walk yet! We hope you will be able to join us!

A reminder that if you are in the Greater Boston area and seeking to update your immunizations, we may be able to arrange a health screening to include necessary immunizations and/or blood titer confirmation of antibodies at no cost to you if you meet the qualifications of one of our facilities. Please contact RDH Temps main office staff for more information. More and more facilities are implementing immunization requirements. This is an excellent opportunity to complete your requirements for such assignments.

Text, Email and Website Job Alerts!

RDH Temps is excited to announce new options for notifying you of jobs -Email, Text and Website Job Alerts! As the most technologically advanced dental staffing agency we will be able to text and/or email staff who are signed up for job alerts and post the job to the appropriate section of our website. This technology will allow us to notify those who choose email and/or text alerts of job opportunities, both temporary and permanent, in minutes!

How Do I Sign Up?

You may opt -in to receive Text and/or Email Alerts by calling our office, 800-462-8367 or visiting RDH Temps website signup page.

Can I sign up for both Text and Email Alerts?

Yes! You may unsubscribe or change your preferences at any time by calling the office at 800-462-8367 or by sending us a message here.

Will I be "spammed" with jobs that don't apply to me?

No! Our sophisticated, proprietary software will only send you alerts for those jobs that you are likely to match.

During what hours will I receive Job Alerts?

RDH Temps Staff will send Job Alerts during our normal business hours; Monday through Thursday 7:00am - 9:30pm and Friday 7:00am - 5:30pm.

Alerts may also be sent on weekends, as needed, but not before 7:00am or after 9:30pm.

How can I find out about jobs in a timely manner if I am not enrolled in Job Alerts?

Many of RDH Temps jobs, both temporary and permanent, are listed on our website. There will also be a "Last Minute Ticker" scrolling on the front page when there are last-minute things that have alerts out. Clicking the ticker will bring you to the temp job listings.

Will I be able to book jobs by replying to the Email or Text?

At this time all jobs must be booked by telephone with one of our Personnel Coordinators. Please call 800-462-8367(TEMP) to book work or inquire about a job. Replies by email or text will not be processed, nor can jobs be booked this way.

I follow RDH Temps on twitter. Will job "tweets" still be sent?

Yes. All temporary jobs that are posted to RDH Temps website are also sent as "tweets". It may take up to a half hour for the "tweet" to be sent.

Will Job Alerts be used to notify me about new permanent job listings?

Yes. If you are signed up for Email and/or Text Alerts and are currently on RDH Temps Permanent Placement list you will receive Job Alerts about new postings. Emailing to perm@rdhtemps.net is an acceptable way to reach the Perm Coordinators.

Important Points to Remember

- Even if you are signed up for job alerts, we will still call you for jobs.

- Unlike Twitter and RDH Temps website, job alerts will only come for those jobs that are a probable match for you.

- We still want you to call in and let us know you are looking - there may be jobs available that have not been posted.

- Be sure to add info@rdhtemps.net and perm@rdhtemps.net to your Address Book and/or safe senders list!

Get to Know Maureen!

Maureen is a native Cape-Codder who is currently enjoying her second employment with RDH Temps, Inc. She had worked with us several years ago then left to work in a dental office. Maureen then worked at home raising her 4 children as well as offering daycare to others.

Maureen is now a Personnel Coordinator at RDH Temps main office assisting facilities and staff with their temporary employment needs. She is also our data entry person for the initial phase of all new applications.

In her spare time Maureen enjoys spending time with her husband and 4 children (2 boys and 2 girls). She particularly likes attending all of her children's events including baseball, basketball, soccer, chorus and band.
