Guidelines
It's a Bird, It's a Plane
No, It's an RDH Temp Getting To Work. It is your responsibility to get directions to an office
and allow sufficient time to arrive in a timely manner. Your day will be much
more pleasant if you have ample time to set up. Call the office, call the T, (617-222-3200) call the non-emergency number of the local police
department, look on-line at Map Quest http://www.mapquest.com/
or another locator site, look at the MBTA Web site http://www.mbta.com/

Cell Phone Etiquette
Cell phones certainly make it easier for us all to keep in touch with each
other, BUT when arriving at work cell phones should be turned off or placed in
silent mode. During lunch break it is acceptable to check messages and return
phone calls. Patients come first and deserve your undivided attention during
their appointments. Personal calls should only be made in the event of a true
emergency during your working hours.
Fashion Alert
It has come to our attention that some temps are still
showing up for work in street clothes. It is certainly appropriate to arrive at
the office this way as long as you bring along “work clothes” (such as
scrubs or white pants and lab coats) and, of course, allowing yourself time to
change before the first patient is due. This
is in compliance with OSHA regulations, which are for your protection.
