Freedom, Not Free For All
Working as a temporary gives you a lot of freedom as an employee. You can work where and when you want, you can pick the types of offices you wish to work in and you can pick the shifts and specific hours you are able to work. However, as the title of this article suggests, it is freedom, but not a free for all. We would like to review some of the ground rules we have in place to maintain our high standards.
Working for RDH Temps means flexibility in your job environment; whether that means for specific offices, types of facilities (i. e. group practices, hospitals, individual practitioners, schools, health centers), certain geographic areas, accessibility to public transportation, parking, specific specialties, etc. Just let us know your experience and preferences.
Working for RDH Temps means flexibility in
scheduling. You can chose which hours, days and even which weeks or months you
will be available. Our proprietary technology lets us keep track of all of this for you.
Once you have accepted a specific assignment we confirm that commitment to the doctor. Therefore, once
you have accepted an assignment, you have made a commitment to RDH Temps, Inc. and the facility. We will always try to honor a request to replace
you, but if we cannot get anyone else, you are obligated to honor your commitment. When a temp fails to go to their assignment, it inconveniences patients, costs the dental facility money, and damages our reputation and yours.
Working for RDH Temps means you can pick the times of day you are available to work. Be prepared to start your first patient at the scheduled time. Plan on staying until the end time you are committed to, understanding that sometimes you will be out a little earlier or later, depending on the schedule of the office for the day. We appreciate your flexibility when there are changes in the office schedule.
Working for RDH Temps means you can pick up extra days of work and your check will be mailed by the Thursday following the week you worked, with all appropriate taxes withheld. For this to transpire, you must be sure we have received your time slip by 8:00 am on the Tuesday following the end of the workweek. The accuracy of your hours on your time slip is your responsibility. Check for errors in time recording to prevent delays in processing your check.
Working for RDH Temps means you can have your check direct deposited at your bank. This will happen on the first or second paycheck following your request. Direct deposit forms can be downloaded here .
Working for RDH Temps means you can select jobs from the largest pool of dental facilities offered by any dental agency in New England, whether you are looking for permanent or temporary employment. Please be sure you notify RDH Temps, Inc. of any office that requests you for the future. Remember that once you have been introduced to a facility through RDH Temps, Inc., either from temping in the office or by us forwarding your resume, you may only return to work in that office through RDH Temps' temporary or permanent placement services. This condition is in effect for one year following your last interaction with the office and applies to both working through another placement agency and working directly for the dental office (see Article 5, Employment Agreement).
Working for RDH Temps means you can work in many offices as a temporary until you find the perfect office for you to settle into on a permanent basis, if that is your desire. Please let us know if you wish to accept a permanent position at a facility where we have introduced you. Remind the dental facility to contact RDH Temps
